I'm so happy in my Shoefactory garden home! They're a lovely little unit, Nick & Andra, and recently Fay Weldon CBE - the writer - has come to live with us, which has improved the conversation quality no end, I should coco! And the food, actually. Mums expect the very best, don't they...
They get on fine together, the three humans - just as well, being cooped up in the lockdown. Not that I'd call the Shoefactory a coop - it's massive inside. If I don't feel like going out, I'll go for a gallop round one of the bathrooms.
But I do get out and about most days. I'm well over seventy, but I don't look it. And I've got the choice, being a horse. Got to keep my work up, you see. Got to keep those back channels open so all the world leaders can keep talking to each other. There's a lot of travelling involved, but all that's got much easier now, without the cars. And all my other bits and pieces - the social media work, the jazz, the schmooze, the nosebag - I can keep up with all that on the hoof.
